What is Accident Insurance?

A financial and family protection plan designed to help pay for the medical and out-of-pocket costs a covered individual may incur after an accidental injury either on or off the job.

Plan Rules:

  • Eligibility: All full-time employees working 50% of full-time hours based on job category (minimum of 15 hours/week), spouse, and children (up to age 26) 

  • Coverage through MetLife

  • Employee must be actively at work on the effective date

  • This coverage helps offset costs associated with unforeseen accidents and does not coincide with health insurance; Payments made directly to you

  • No Health Questions Every Year!
